Rates

We can accommodate up to 250 for reception only and up to 150 for ceremony and reception.  Please refer to the Spaces page for a detailed description of our seating capacity.

Saturday:

$3850  Facility fee (9 hours - includes set up / break down time; additional hours may be purchased)    
$500    Refundable damage deposit                                                   
$150    Ceremony rehearsal fee, when applicable (1.5 hours)

2/3 of the facility fee ($2570) is due with signed contract.  1/3 of the facility fee ($1280), $500 refundable damage deposit, and $150 ceremony rehearsal fee (if applicable) will be due 2 weeks before event.

Most weddings require 2.5 hours of set up time and 1.5 hours of break down time.                         

Sunday - Friday:

$300/hour  Facility fee (pay for all the time the space is used, including set up / break down)            
$500          Refundable damage deposit                                                   
$150          Ceremony rehearsal fee, when applicable (1.5 hours)

Rates for The Wimbish House include:

  • on-site security, available to assist with guest entry and departure, parking instructions, and general security
  • on-site attendant to greet and guide guests, assist event planner or hosts, tidy bathrooms, and oversee the opening and closing of the facility
  • use of 12 60-inch round tables, 5 48-inch round tables, and 140 gold Chiavari ballroom chairs
  • use of 8 6-foot rectangular tables, 6 8-foot rectangular tables, and 5 30-inch round high-top tables
  • use of 2 grand pianos
  • use of kitchen for your licensed, insured caterer (please refer to the "Policies" page for a more detailed description of the license and insurance requirements)

 

PARKING:

The Wimbish House can accommodate up to 4 "VIP" vehicles, and up to 6 vendor vehicles. Most clients arrange for guest parking at one of the following decks or lots:

  • Colony Square (Central Parking) : Located on the NE corner of 14th and Peachtree, 404-888-9559. $5 per car, client can prepay or guests can pay - must call ahead to arrange for discounted rate.
  • Proscenium (Laz Parking) : Located on the SW corner of 14th and Crescent, call for daily rates, 404-962-9985 ask to speak with Martha.  Prepaid parking available for $10 per car after 5pm on Friday and Saturday.  Closed on Sunday.
  • Next Door (Parking Company of America) : 1 lot south of Wimbish House.  Call for rates, 404-787-6356, ask to speak with Mohommad.
  • 1100 Peachtree (Laz Parking) : 2 lots south of Wimbish House.  Call for daily rates, 404-297-1781.  Closed on Sunday.
